Project Overview

Built in 1972, Anheuser-Busch’s Samlesbury, UK brewery is their second largest brewery in UK and covers 80 acres. The brewery operates 24hrs per day, 7 days per week, 363 days a year, employing 260 people and produces approximately 2.5million hectolires of beer per year.
As part of a program in which £29.3 million pounds has been invested in the site in the last three years, AB InBev contracted Alectia UK to source, procure and install 2 x 76,000ltr Mash Conversion Vessels. Working closely with Alectia and ABInBev representatives, MGT designed and manufactured both Mash Conversion Vessels under very tight deadline and brought both vessels in on time, delivered to the client facility in Samlesbury, UK.
