MGT successfully bid for and was contracted to design and fabricate 1 x 39hl Insulated and chilled “Plastisol” clad, “Gyle” Storage Tank, 1 x 750ltr Pressure Rated “Surge” Tank and 1 x 275ltr
“Isohop” Dosing Tank on behalf of FMA Process Engineering Ltd for a project to supply a joint venture between Guinness & Heineken for their brewery in Accra, Ghana, West Africa
Scope of Project:
- Design, manufacture and testing of 1 x 39,000ltr
- Insulated and chilled “Plastisol” clad “Gyle” Storage
- Tank in accordance with 97/23 (PED) regulations
- Insulation requirement to store fermenting yeast at desired temperature
- Design and fabrication of pressurized cooling jackets for “Gyle” Tank
- Exterior cladding of “Gyle” in “Plastisol” galvanized mild steel plastic coated profile panels
- Design, manufacture and pressure testing of 1 x 750ltr, 10barg
- Pressure Rated “Surge” Tank in accordance with 97/23 (PED) regulations
- Design and manufacture of 275ltr “Isohop”
- Dosing Tank
- Design and fabrication of ladders, walkways and handrails for “Gyle” Tank
- FAT Testing at MGT Facility
- Sea Shipment of all tanks, ladders, walkways and platforms to Tema sea port, Ghana, West Africa Subsequent inland delivery of all tanks, ladders, walkways and platforms to Guinness Brewery, Accra, Ghana, West Africa
