Project Overview

Founded in 1851 by Cornishman Walter Hicks, St. Austell Brewery remains 100% independent and family owned with a thriving estate which spans the South West ranging from Bristol in the east to the Isles of Scilly in the west.
Indeed many of the South West’s most famous pubs are part of the St. Austell Brewery estate and you will usually find one of their pubs at the heart of every community, particularly in Cornwall.
As part of an ongoing expansion programme to meet increased demand for their diverse range of beers, St. Austell Brewery contracted T. Musk Engineering to source, procure and install 2 x 350Brl (57,200ltr) Dual Purpose Vessels. Working closely with Musk and St. Austell Brewery representatives, MGT designed and manufactured both Dual Purpose Vessels under a very tight deadline and delivered to the client facility in St. Austell, UK.

Scope of Project:

  • TUV / CE Approval of design and manufacture of 2 x 57,200ltr Pressure Rated, Insulated and Jacketed Dual Purpose Vessels
  • Sea Shipment of 2 x 57,200ltr Pressure Rated, Insulated and Jacketed Dual Purpose Vessels to Felixstowe sea port in UK
  • Customs clearance and inland transportation of 2 x 57,200ltr Pressure Rated, Insulated and Jacketed Dual Purpose Vessels to St. Austell Brewery UK
