Project Overview
As the principal contractor to supply and install the expansion in the new Jersey Dairy, MGT’s long term UK partner Moody Systems contracted MGT to design and manufacture 8 milk and cream tanks including, 2 x 25,000ltr Milk reception Silos, 1 x 25,000ltr Soft Ice Cream Mix Tank, 2 x 7,000ltr Cream Ageing Tanks, 1 x 5,000ltr Skim Milk Concentrate Tank, 1 x 5,000ltr Finished Milk Tank and 1 x 2,000ltr Buttermilk Tank.
Scope of Project:
- Design and manufacture of 2 x 25,000ltr Milk reception Silos with pressurized cooling jackets, insulation and side mount agitator
- Design and manufacture of 1 x 25,000ltr Soft Ice
- Cream Mix Tank with pressurized cooling jackets, insulation and side mount agitator
- Design and manufacture of 2 x 7,000ltr Cream
- Ageing Tanks with pressurized cooling jackets,
- insulation and top mount gate type MGT Agitator
- Design and manufacture of 1 x 5,000ltr Skim Milk
- Concentrate Tank with pressurized cooling jackets, insulation and top mount UZ type MGT Agitator
- Design and manufacture of 1 x 5,000ltr Finished
- Milk Tank with pressurized cooling jackets, insulation and top mount slow flat wing type
- MGT Agitator for milk
- Design and manufacture of 1 x 2,000ltr Buttermilk
- Tank with pressurized cooling jackets, insulation and top mount UZ type MGT Agitator
- FAT Testing of all tanks according to code.
- Packaging and transportation to client’s site of all tanks
