Project Overview
As a critical part of their innovative project to supply liquefied sugar to local beverage manufacturers Tate & Lyle contracted MGT to design and manufacture 5 x 330,000ltr Insulated Syrup silos and 3 x 120,000ltr RO Water tanks. There were many very unique design aspects to incorporate into the project which very successfully overcome by MGT’s team of experienced vessel designers and engineers.
Scope of Project:
- Design and manufacture of 5 x 330,000ltr Insulated Syrup silos
- Critical Insulation requirement to ensure stored sugar syrup remained at desired temperature during storage of product
- Design and fabrication of pressurized heating elements for sugar syrup silos
- Design and manufacture of and 3 x 120,000ltr RO Water tanks
- FAT Testing of all tanks according to code
- Packaging and transportation to client’s site of all tanks
- Successful commissioning and hand over to client of all tanks
