Project Overview
MGT was contracted to design and fabricate 4 x 35hl Insulated and chilled Brewery Fermentation Tanks, on behalf of Cavibel, a daughter company of the Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Cape Verde, close to the western coast of Senegal Africa. The project called for MGT to design, manufacture and ship by sea 4 x 35 Hecto-Litre Stainless Steel Fermenting which would be the focal point in the plant expansion of a local brewery in Cape Verde.
Scope of Project:
- Design, manufacture and factory testing of 4 x 35,000ltr Insulated, chilled Stainless Steel clad Fermentation Tanks in accordance with 97/23 (PED) regulations
- Insulation requirement to store fermenting yeast at desired temperature
- Design and fabrication of pressurized cooling jackets for Fermentation Tanks
- Design and fabrication of ladders, walkways and handrails for “Gyle” Tank
- FAT Testing at MGT Facility, according to design code
- Sea Shipment of all tanks, ladders, walkways and platforms to Praia sea port, Cape Verde, West Africa
