As part of the expansion of their production capabilities, Toro Norway, a manufacturer of Gluton Free food
mixes and food products and a part of the Rieber & Son Group of companies contracted MGT Liquid & Process Systems to design and manufacture 2 x 11,000ltr Pressure rated, insulated, heated and agitated Hydrolised Protein mixing tanks which were to be stamped with the CE (Conformité Européene) Code Mark according to European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and the European Machinery directive 98/37/EC.
Scope of Project:
Design, manufacture and testing of 2 x 11,000ltr Pressure rated, insulated, heated and agitated Hydrolised Protein mixing tanks
Design, fabrication and run in of suitable agitators for Hydrolised Vegetable Protein Tanks to ensure against sedimentation of product during the heating cycle to 130°C
FAT Testing of Hydrolised Vegetable Protein mixing tanks and agitators according to European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and the European Machinery directive 98/37/EC
Liaising with TUV Nord Hellas (Greece) on all design and manufacturing aspects of tanks and agitators to comply with European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and the European
Machinery directive 98/37/EC in order to obtain CE (Conformité Européene) code stamp
Successful packaging and sea freight shipping of tanks and agitators to Oslo sea port, Norway
